Constance "Connie" McFadden, 67, of New Bern, NC passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Eugene W. and Mary K. Walsh of Silver Spring, MD. She is preceded in death by her older brother Eugene F. Walsh.
Connie leaves behind her loving, dedicated husband of almost 30 years, Dale McFadden, her son, Jason, grandchild, Brice, older sisters Carolyn and Irene, and many nieces, nephews, steps, and friends. We all treasure memories of her which include having a good laugh together.
Connie was a well-respected paralegal until she retired. In retirement, she felt strongly about fostering shelter dogs because she loved her own, Layla, Spanky, and Darla. She loved seeing the lake outside her window. She never grew tired of watching the sunrise or the baby ducks.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Cotten Funeral Home.
