My memories include playing in the car as a toddler and when we would stop at a stop - light my dad would say, "kiss me quick before the light turns green, hurry, hurry" and I would scramble to crawl in the front seat to kiss him.

My daddy loved snow! I remember when I was about 10 or 11 years old my dad woke us up in the middle of the night to drive to Raleigh because he saw on tv that it was snowing there. He loaded me ,Gina, and Carla up in our pajamas, coats, and blankets and drove to Raleigh in the middle of the night to see the snow. We sat at a Waffle house and watched the snow fall and then drove back home to Holly Ridge. It's a good memory!

When I was young, my sisters and I were thrilled when Uncle David came to visit. From the most inventive games to his crazy jokes to his music, he was the MOST FUN and we adored him. I will cherish the memories of this talented and fun man. Rest well, Uncle David.

We met David five years ago, when Stephanie and Joe got married. The music he had prepared for their wedding was wonderful. Cindy, we hope and pray that you and your family get through these tough days by remembering many great times and events you all were together for. Please know we are thinking of you with love.

David - what a wonderful person. He always had a smile. I met David thru his wife Cindy who I worked with in the school system and daughter Julie who was a friend of my daughter.
I loved having him as my piano tuner and was sad when he had to give that up. But could David play the piano - beautiful - absolutely beautiful. He’ll be in God’s choir now playing for the angels. Rest in piece David.
