She was born in Beaufort County, NC to the late Curtis and Janie Mae Satterthwaite Jenkins. She was married to Bruce Jones Sr for 52 years and blessed with 3 sons.
Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and baking cakes for any and all. She was a firm believer in Christ and loved her church family at Seventh Day Adventist in New Bern NC. She worked with Craven County Schools for over 20 years. After retiring, she continued to work there part time.
She is survived by her husband and sons, Jather Jones Jr., Andre Jones Sr., and Travis Bright, as well as 13 grandkids and 10 great grandkids. She is also survived by her foster Singleton family
A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12 pm in the chapel of Cotten Funeral Home.
She will be truly missed by many.
