Diana Elizabeth Morris

Diana Elizabeth Morris, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on September 14, 1953, Diana lived a life filled with love, devotion to her family, and an appreciation for the simple joys of life.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Morris Armentrout; her brother, John “Jack” Edwards; and a host of other family members and dear friends. Diana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas “Buzzy” Morris, with whom she is now joyfully reunited in Heaven.

Some of Diana’s happiest moments were spent along the Neuse River, where she found peace, beauty, and countless cherished memories. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Diana’s honor to support cancer research and assist those affected by the disease.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
