Diane Byrd

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Byrd, her mother, Martha Lockley, her father, Farmie Lockley, Sr., one son, Curtis Glenn Byrd, one sister, Mildred Lassiter, and four brothers, Elwood, Wayne, Terry, and Farmie Lee.

Her survivors include son, Jamie Byrd of New Bern, daughter, Susan (David) Brigman of Bayboro, son, Robert Lewis Byrd, Jr., of New Bern, daughter, Janet Allen of Wilmington, as well as five sisters, Gloria Barkley (Joe) of Charlotte, Doris Reason of VA, Wendy Strickland of New Bern, Phyllis Heath (Gene) of Portsmith ,VA, Amber Kelly (Donnie) of Morehead City, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome however memorials can be made to Cotten Funeral Home to assist the family.

Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday May 28, at 1pm at Calvary Baptist Church.
