Dianne Dunn

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the passing of Dianne Fredericks Dunn, originally of Beacon, New York, and had resided in New Bern, North Carolina for almost 30 years. She passed away peacefully at Carolina East Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lee Anderson Dunn and is predeceased by her daughter Heather Lee Dunn, her loving parents, Daniel Anthony Fredericks and Susan Loretta Fredericks and brother-in-law Michael Nicolis.

Dianne attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School and the Krissler Business Institute before working for IBM for 10 years. Dianne then transitioned to a robust career in real estate, spanning over 40 years retiring as one of the founding partners of Keller Williams New Bern and a cherished member of our local real estate community.

Dianne was more than a REALTOR® and a respected real estate professional. She was a colleague, mentor, friend, and familiar face to so many throughout our community. Her dedication to the profession and the relationships she built over the years have left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

Dianne was an accomplished professional and her whole life was a blessing. Though she left our sight, the warmth of her spirit, her fierce support, laughter, and deep love remain with us always. As the eldest sister, she was also a steadfast friend and companion through every season of life. She was looked up to and admired by her sisters, daughter, and nieces. Her love leaves a piece of our hearts that can never be replaced. May she fly on angel wings to meet her daughter, Heather.

She is also survived by her sisters Pat Fredericks of Phoenix AZ, Susan Navarro and husband Anthony Navarro of Montgomery NY, Barbara Nicolis of Highland NY, and Michele Corcoran and husband James Corcoran of Hopewell Junction NY, and nieces Amanda Church (Sean Church), and Kate Corcoran of Jacksonville, FL, step daughters Katherine Dunn and Andrea Coon of Los Angeles, California, as well as her perfect pups Piper and Jazz.

A visitation will be held at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

A memorial service will follow on Wednesday evening in the chapel of Cotten Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. A second receiving of friends will take place immediately following the service.
