Dianne Haithcock Hirko

Dianne Haithcock Hirko, age 66, of Trent Woods, North Carolina went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2022. She was a member of the Croatan Church of Christ. When her health allowed, Dianne was very outgoing and enjoyed the company of her friends and family. She loved her family dearly and considered her children and grandchildren her greatest accomplishment.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Jean Haithcock; sister, Vickie Cumbo; and grandparents.

Dianne is survived by her husband, John Hirko of the home; sons, Charles "Mac" McSorley and Christopher McSorley both of New Bern; sisters, Carol Thomas (Jimmy) and Linda Povich (Peter); brother, Mike Haithcock (Rosemary); and five grandchildren, Cameron, Troy, Drew, Darren, and Kyle McSorley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Cotten Funeral Home followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. officiated by Mr. Craig Hearne. She will then be laid to rest at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
