Dorothy Kay Tyndall

Dorothy Kay Tyndall was born July 24 1949. She was raised by her parents, the late Kenneth U. Tyndall and Dorothy Tyndall. While growing up she attended and was a member of Antioch Free Will Baptist church of New Bern.

Kay had a love for animals like no one else. She would have made an awesome veterinarian! As everyone knew Kay, she probably would have tried to bring all the animals home with her! Through her many trials during her life, she always remained strong and always had a positive attitude.

Kay spent most of her life taking care of people especially her mother which she loved so much. Kay retired from Carolina Reginal Medical Center. She was one of the head nurses in the ICU unit. No matter how bad she felt or how tired she was, she always checked on other people's health and well being before her own.

She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth U. Tyndall, Mother Dorothy Tyndall, and brother Kenneth E. Tyndall.

She is survived by her niece and nephew, Kim Lewis and husband David Lewis, Keith Tyndall and wife Debbie Tyndall. Grand-niece, Jessica Whitford and husband Cory Whitford, children Camdyn and Evlee. Grand-nephew Kyle Venters.
