"Surprisingly, our Lord often works a miraculous peace and sometimes even an inner joy in the midst of our tears. That peace comes from and through Jesus Christ."

Even though it has been over a year since I last visited with Edna; my visits with her were always inspiring and filled with joy and laughter. She enjoyed reminiscing about the fun times she had with her late husband Pete, and her cousin Peggy. But, she also enjoyed talking to you about the Lord. Edna had such a unique laugh that would make anyone smile. One could always learn something from her; whether it be from the Bible, or be one of her recipes. Her pig-picking cake and pecan pie was simply the BEST!

I will deeply miss her, but I know the angels in heaven are rejoicing and Edna has rejoined Pete for their second honeymoon. : )

Sonny and Barbara, may the Lord give you peace and a smile knowing your mom was such a delight to be around.
