Edward Charles Gadomski
April 27, 1940 – July 23, 2013
Edward Charles “Yankee” Gadomski, 73, of New Bern, died July 23, 2013.
He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church, the NRA, and Township #9 Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter, rifleman and fisherman and he loved the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Gadomski and Doris Gadomski Gannon.
Edward is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Linda Gadomski, two daughters, Connie Cherry and husband Dallas, Mary G. Bantos and husband Christopher, all of New Bern; one sister, Sandra Collier and husband Wayne of Massachusetts, and his grandchildren, Jessie Lynn Coward, Austin Cherry, Hunter Bantos and Gage Bantos.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Friday, July 26, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

Mary and family,
I am sadden by the loss of your father. My greatest memory of him is when he pulled Big Clyde and me out of a big mud hole off old Dover Road. A great man he was.
