He served his country and retired from the U.S. Army and he was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Maria O. Jenkins, one son, Kenneth Bailey and wife Charlotte and their family of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Allen Jenkins and Teroy Jenkins, both of New York; two sisters, Mattie Jenkins of Orlando, FL; and Sabrina Jenkins of New York; and one nephew, Alejandro Jenkins of Orlando, FL.
A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 8, 2014 at Annunciation Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
