Ray worked for 29 years with Liberty Life Insurance which he referred to as his “mission field for the Lord.” He loved meeting people and working for the Lord. Ray was a Christian who loved his Savior as well as those around him. His faith was a great part of his life. Ray loved the Lord with all of his heart. Ray was also a family man. He loved having all the family together. He was so proud of each one’s accomplishments and continued to pray daily for them individually. Ray’s children and grandchildren looked to him as the “cornerstone” of the family. His faith and trust in God was an inspiration to all. Although he battled many years of illness, Ray’s spirit, faith, and will power continued to carry him to the end.
