Fabian Ronald Gardner

Fabian Ronald Gardner was beloved & cherished by his wife Josephine Bleil-Gardner & his child Zephyr Willow (previously Jasmine Gardner). He was the son of Josephine & Floyd Gardner and was the youngest boy of 11 children. Fabian was born and raised in the Southfield area of Michigan.

As a young man he entered the Franciscan Brothers where he served for 18 years. Upon leaving the Franciscans he dabbled in computer work. After which he turned his interest to truck driving; Fabian worked as a trucker for 35 years. When he retired he moved with his wife Jo from Spokane, WA all the way to New Bern, NC. It was there that he renewed his love of playing golf. Throughout his life he was loyal to his Michigan sports teams, especially the Detroit Red Wings NHL team as well as Michigan college football. He above all, loved spending time with his family & his friends.

The funeral mass for him will be celebrated on Friday, February 23rd 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church located at 3005 Country Club Rd. in New Bern, NC. His burial will immediately follow the mass.
