Dear Ducastel Family,
Your mom was my mother's (Minnie Wiggins) roommate at Homeplace for a while and Fran was such a sweetheart. She would always want to know if mama was dong ok and kept a close check on her. That was special to me. Mama loved her and at Christmas she made sure I had picked up a gift for Fran.
My sister Retha and I have continued to visit since mama's passing in Jan. 2011 and will certainly miss Fran when we go to Homeplace for our next visit.
May all the treasured memories you have of your mother be a source of comfort in the days to come.

Dear Richard, Lance and Anita, and family members all of you,
Please know that your darling mother is looking over us with perfect love and guidance. She is where we all hope some day to be, with our Lord.
She had been like an older sister to me for we were only ten years difference in our age. I admired her as a person who was loved by so many people. She served her country and was a good person. I am proud to call her my aunt and dear spiritual friend. We all loved her dearly.

Dear Lance, Richard and Anita. My heart goes out to all of you, during the loss of Mom. I will miss her cards, our talks on the phone, and visits when she came to Greensboro, before she became ill. We shared some wonderful memories. God is holding her close now. You're in my prayers.
Love, Shirley
