Frances Tucker Townsend
April 20, 1924 – November 3, 2014
IN THE CARE OF
Frances Tucker Townsend, 90, of New Bern, NC, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Townsend, Jr; two brothers Leo Tucker and Floyd Tucker; and a sister Kathleen Stancill.
She is survived by her son Ray Townsend of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her daughter Frances T. Manning of Charlotte, NC; her sister Edna T. Rodgers of Norfolk, VA; and 3 grandsons Christopher, Graham and Cameron Bass all of New Bern, NC.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Broad Street Christian Church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Broad Street Christian Church, 802 Broad Street, New Bern, NC 28560.
