Fred C. White, (Freddie) AKA "Lanceman" passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Kinston, NC to Beulah and Fred White on October 2, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his parents Beulah and Fred White.
He is survived by his wife, Susan White; two children, Kim Broadway (Allen) and Greg White (Courtney);
seven grandchildren, Katy, Hatch (Amanda), Savannah, Beau (Luisa) and Kyle, Seth and Zade; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Faust and his 4 legged companion Rusty.
Freddie retired from Lance after 27 years. After retirement he worked at New Bern Building Supply. Freddie was a devoted husband, father and being "Papa" was his greatest joy. He loved to fish and enjoyed riding his Harley.
A memorial Service for Freddie will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home, 2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, North Carolina 28560. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
