Leaving behind to honor George's life and memories are his partner of 40 years, Vee Askew; brother, Basil Byrd and his wife, Susan; and many loving family members and close friends.
George is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Byrd, and his sister, Barbara Small.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
