He is survived by his wife Glennie C. Johnson; daughters Karen J. Lang (Otis) of Burlington, MI, Katherine J. Halstead of Litchfield, MI, Debbie J. Kessler of Angola, IN, and Rosalinda Johnson; sister Alice Ione Cook of Clearwater Lake, CA; eleven grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
George is preceded in death by two daughters, Annie B. Walker and Julia B. Strickland.
George was a past member of the Moose Lodge and was a long time truck driver.
