

Mr. Wall, a native of Port Washington, Wis., was born March 6, 1933. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Marquette University.
He began his career as a technical writer for AC Delco in Milwaukee, where he authored an instruction manual for a device used on NASA's Apollo missions. He later worked for the federal government in Washington D.C.
After retiring to Lawrenceville in 1991, he volunteered at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Ebony, Va., where he was a member until his passing.
He was also an avid photographer and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean with his family and friends.
George Anthony Wall, the son of the late Mary and Lawrence Wall, is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Wall, of New Bern, N.C., two sons, David L. Wall of Lawrenceville, and Andrew J. Wall of Bunker Hill, W. Va.
His wife of 62 years, Doris Mae Wall, preceded him in death on September 29, 2023. He is also in preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
The family would like to express its appreciation to the staffs of Craven County Hospice and The Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Havelock, for their compassionate end-of-life care.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
