Geraldine Donna Fiedler

Geri, at age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 29, 2025. She was born in Chicago, IL to Emil and Cecelia Fieck on September 1, 1932. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Knobby, her parents and all her siblings.

She was a loving Mom, Grammy and Great-Grammy to her entire family, son Bill and wife Donna, daughter Cyndi and husband Dean, her grandchildren and their spouses and other halves, David and Teresa, Christina and Matt, Chrisser and Marielle, Brad and Sarah, Danielle and Bryan and Nicole and Chris. A proud and full of joy Great-Grammy to Joshua, Brynn, Ainsley, Easton, Ryder, Ellison, Levi, Lyla, Jackson, and Grace.

She enjoyed simply being with her family and cuddling and playing with her great-grandchildren and watching them grow. They were her “peeps.” She loved watching sports and was a very vocal fan, always rooting for the Cubs and the Bears no matter what their status. She also enjoyed playing bingo throughout her life and driving to new venues. The memories she has left her family are our greatest treasures and blessings. She was a true lifelong friend of 85 years with her best friend Martha.

The family wishes to thank all of the caring, compassionate people at The Viridian and wonderful nurses at Carolina East Hospital. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude for the exceptional care provided by SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House for being there for all of us in so many ways on the last part of her journey home.
