Guy "Bo" Henderson Hawkins, Sr.
February 14, 1950 – November 6, 2012
Guy “Bo” Henderson Hawkins, Sr., 62 of New Bern, died November 6, 2012 at home.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He was past master of Grantham Lodge No. 725 and he was a member of New Bern Scottish Rite and Sudan Shriners. He attended New Bern High School.
He is survived by two sons, Guy Henderson Hawkins, Jr. of New Bern; Joseph William Hawkins of Jamesville; one daughter, Tina Marie Hawkins Taylor of Cove City; one brother, Johnnie Travis Hawkins of New Bern; one sister, Cynthia Norris of New Bern; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Cotten Chapel. Burial, with Masonic rites will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the funeral home.

Guy, We will sure miss seeing you at the Trenton auction. We always looked forward to seeing you there, and we will miss your gardening advise too. You always had such great gardens. Don't worry about Phyllis we'll look in on her frequently. We know how much you truly loved her. Take care friend we will see you again in Heaven.
