Harvey Dupree Rowe

Harvey served his country faithfully in the United States Coast Guard, and became a Purple Heart recipient. He was also a member of Whitehill FWB church in Aurora, NC. He retired from the Corp of Engineers after 31 years of service. Harvey enjoyed making music and fishing, and a proud member of the Odd Fellows in Virginia.

Harvey is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Dartha Mae Rowe.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Mullins (Joel) of New Bern; two grandchildren, Kristi Frank and Brian Mullins (Heather), all of New Bern; two great grandchildren, Mattie Frank and Justin Taylor.

A visitation will be held at Cotten Funeral Home on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Cotten Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
