Henry A. Laney, 76, of Swansboro, passed away on Friday July 24, 2020. He was a son of the late Archie C. and Mabel (Lee) Laney. Henry was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant having served his Country faithfully for 20 years, during that time he was in artillery in Vietnam and a Purple Heart recipient. Following his military career Henry also retired as a Postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service at the Beauford Post Office.
Mr. Laney is survived by a daughter; Angela Ulin, two brothers; Ronald C. and Gary Lee Laney, a sister; Josette O. Phillips and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by a daughter; Patricia Driver and a sister; Elaine Eires.
Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia also at a later date.
Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family in their time of need.
