He is survived by his son David Watts of Cary, daughter Marianne Poe of New Bern, two grandchildren Joshua Poe and Jennifer Poe, three great-grandchildren Joseph, Emma, and Maggie, and his canine companion Rosie who was always by his side.
Henry moved to New Bern from Granville, Ohio. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. Henry loved spending his time doing outdoors activities and anything by the water like fishing, kayaking and boating. He was a loving father and grandfather who was very loved and will be remembered fondly.
