Hester Price Whitford, 81, of New Bern, NC, passed away on October 18, 2014.
She was an active member of St. Mary’s F.W.B. Church
She was predeceased in death by her husband Edward Whitford and her son; Ronald “Ronnie” Whitford; step daughter, Paula Whitford; brother, Jimmy Price; sister, Betty Sipes.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Hill and husband Kenny of New Bern; step daughter Sandy Potter and husband Virgil of Bayboro; brother in heart, Ravaughn Griffin; six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may made to St. Mary’s F.W.B. Church, 314 Fleet Street, New Bern, NC 28562.
