As a nurse, Hilda was on duty 24 hours a day aiding accident victims and producing bandages as needed for minor injuries while camping. A squirrel rehabilitator, she rescued dozens of babies and raised them until their return to the wild. The other species of mammals she rescued were numerous, including ferrets, rabbits, cats, and dogs.
Her passion for family was unbounded. She was the glue that held family together, always staying in contact and doing anything and everything necessary for her family's welfare.
A good soul, loving mother of Rhiannon and Israel, wife of Randy, sister of Frances, and daughter of Bill and Ann was suddenly and tragically taken from us.
Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to serve the family of Hilda Billington.
