James Anderson Edwards

He was a member of Galeed Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC. Jimmy was the owner of Jim’s Custom Caps. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed hunting. He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Edwards.

He is survived by his sons, Jimmy A. Edwards and wife Kim, Ronald A. Edwards and wife Jo, all of Grifton; two daughters, Jennifer Edwards Wilkins and husband Neal of Grifton; Beth Edwards of New Bern; grandchildren, Victoria Edwards Miller and husband J.W., Andrew James Edwards, Troy Douglas Edwards, Jake Wilkins, Jadyn Edwards, and one great-granddaughter, Addison Grace Miller. He is also survived by his special friends, Diane, Sonny Boy, Roo and his beloved dog, Charli.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 pm Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 pm with Rev. Dean McLawhorn officiating.
