We are so very sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. We first met Jimmy while in the Navy, first in Tenn. and then we were neighbors and all became best friends in Maryland. We were all just young adults starting out and all became like family since we all were far away from our families. Jimmy and Bob then moved on after the military to MA to go to school to achieve their training for their careers. That is where we had to part ways. Jimmy went to work on the helicopters and Bob on the airplanes. Jimmy was always funny and positive. He made great furniture as a hobby. We were there for each other when our children were born. Jimmy has always been in our thoughts, always when we talk about the past jimmy and Rabbit were and will always be in our hearts. Sharon, we have never met but it sounds like you and Jim were a great couple. Prayers and positive thoughts to you,Harmony and all the Hoffman family. Still so very hard to believe.

Jimmy has been my brother-in-law for 41 years and I knew him a year before that. With that said I knew him since he was a little kid. I seen him grow up and go into the Navy then he got a good job and went to school until he got his Masters. I'm just saying that I was real prould of him. I had Dory tell him how I felt just so he knew. He will be missed by all. My heart goes out to Sharon his wonderful wife. Love you brother. Hank Riger
