Janice Boykin Arthur

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wilson and was a Civil Service employee for 25 years at MCAS Cherry Point and NAS Patuxent River.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher A. Arthur (Sigi) and John M. Arthur (Jennifer); grandson, Alan Michael Arthur; and several nephews and nieces.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, H. Carroll Arthur; brothers, Graham Boykin and Stephen Boykin; and sisters, Eva Boykin and Doris Bowden.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Winings officiating. Following the services, Janice will be laid to rest beside her husband at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
