She is survived by her husband William Yates, two sons, Shawn and Shane Yates, all of New Bern; three brothers, David Hassell of Beaumont, TX; Jessie Blackman of Bayboro; Edward Hassell on Montana; one sister, Charlene Hill of Reelsboro and two grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
