She was born June 6, 1936, to the late Lane and Beulah Henson. She was one of eleven children; so she had many loved nieces and nephews and two special ones (Terry and Jan Bryson) who would drive seven hours to visit Aunt Jean and stayed in touch with her by phone during her declining years.
Jean was the beloved mother of six children and was lovingly called Neena by her eight grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. In addition to all of these children, she is also fondly remembered as Ms. Jean by several children she cared for during her retirement years. She adored children and children adored her. She will also be missed by her furry boy, Copper.
Leaving behind to honor and cherish Jean's life, legacy and memories are her children Ronald Robinson (Rhonda), Joy Cohoon (Fred), Mark Robinson, Cheryl Eubanks (Keith), Christie Zamenski, Mindy Maglione (Tony) and honorary daughter, Christie Hardy; her grandchildren, Amanda Barrett, Erin Boyd, Rachel Shamblin, Amy Bachtel, Thomas Eubanks, Josh Robinson, Sarah Robinson Tackett and Matthew Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital are appreciated.
