Jean Louise Smith was given in birth on 2/14/1935 in New York State. She passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021. Joyfully reuniting with her adoring husband David Vetterly Smith who proceeded her in death on 9/20/2019. Jean’s life will continue to be cherished by her four children. Barbara Nelson 65, Doug Smith 62, Bryan Smith 59, and his wife Stephanie and Claudia Jean Virga 50. Her grandchildren Chris (43), Jennifer (39) her husband Johnny, Diana (34), Melissa (31), Sophia (7), Brandon (29) Macy (26) Bryan Jr, (23) Jayden (9), Nicholas (25) and Jayson (21). Along with her great-grandchildren Samantha (22), Nicole (18), Aiden (7) Jayson (15), Aubree (1), and Everly (6). Jean will have a first viewing on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 1:30 with her service, celebrating her life full of family, friends, and fun, will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at; Cotton Funeral Home located at 2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, North Carolina.
