My heart is broken that we have lost such a precious member of our family.   We will never forget his trip to CO to climb Mt. Elbert with the extended family members.   Everyone loved him for being so kind and helpful.  Greg, Jimmie and Joe said they would not have made it to the summit had it not been for Jeff's encouragement.
He will always be in my memory and I loved him so much.

Jeff was such a pleasure to talk to. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met at work. Always friendly. He will be missed very much.

I can believe I'm seeing this!  I've known you for a long time back in the beach days when we were younger. Always ran into each other at Walmart and would sit there and talk... I will miss that. fly high my friend.

Jeff has been my "best" friend for over 35 years! This has left a huge hole in my heart! But not only was he my best he was family to us. I don't know how many times I have called Jeff over the years and got his mom. Jeff should be home any many she would say, about 45 mins or so later she would tell me here he is, lol! I loved her stories of living all over the world and like 40 some states!! Over these 35 years plus I can say even our animals loved Jeff which I have been told many times over the years they are the best judge of character you can find! May God bless each and everyone of his friends and family that have lost such an awesome person.  Because I truly can feel your pain!

I will cherish the memories we shared.  I met you when I was in high school, you were friends with Keith, and Lon.. we quickly became an unbreakable lifelong small but tight circle of friends... you were my best man at my first wedding.. you wore OP shorts with your tux as a prank, and changed just seconds before the wedding...  we laughed together, cried together, got into mischief together, but even though life happens, you were always a backbone for me many times, even if it had been a while since we had hung out...  Numerous trips to the beach, top off, windshield down, not a care in the world, playing beach music wide open... 37th Street trips...corvette rides, top down in the winter, and heater burning my feet... and always exchanging Christmas homemade candies from me and my kids for Mrs. B’s homemade Mississippi mud pie.  I will miss you my brother..  
Many people cross your path in life, but only a few that you could trust your life with.. you were one of those people... I love you Jeff.  Rest In Peace buddy. 

To Mrs Butler, Barbara, and the rest... I’m praying so hard for you all, prayers of peace, and comfort, during this most difficult time.... if there’s anything at all I can do, please reach out to me..  I love you guys.

Jeff-We have so many memories together. Riding to the beach with the windshield down and the top off.  But we also did it when it snowed. We have been together through thick and thin, and you have ALWAYS been there for me. I remember my Mom's memorial service- I didn't cry until YOU  reached me, and I saw the sadness in YOUR eyes, I knew that you knew me, and I lost it . My heart is broken for your family and friends. I remember when my mom saw you in Wal Mart the first thing she said is "he's still pretty". I agreed. When she passed, you were there within minutes to give me one of your famous hugs.  I'm grateful for the time I got to spend with you these last few months. You made my days brighter with just a text.  To say I'm lost would be putting it mildly. I hope you know how much you meant to me. I love and miss you my friend. 

To Jeff's family I'm sure you know how special he was. You all so very important to him. He was an amazing and caring man.  💝

Jeff dated my daughter 35 years ago. After they went their separate ways, Jeff never forgot me. We remained friends and stayed in touch through all the years. Jeff was very special to me and all my family. My heart is broken. May God keep him in his care. My sincere condolences to his family. And my prayers for Ms. Volna.

Jeff was an all around good guy! I don't remember a time working at Hatteras that he did not wave and say hello with a big smile. He was always a constant that you could depend on being upbeat and genuinely nice. He will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure to work with him and knew him. Our prayers will be with his family during this heartbreaking time.

Me And Jeffery Were  Co Worker He Always Greeted Me With  A Smile Every Morning When I Came In At 6:00 Am  He Will Truly Be  Missed My Prays  Go Out Too The Family

When i was 14 or 15, Jeff dated my sister.  . he truly stood apart from the crowd because he took time and made the effort to get to know me. . . he even took me in his Jeep to the beach with the top off and (at my request) the windshield folded down.  After miles of wind in our hair and bugs in our teeth.. i decided then i wanted a Jeep!  Now,  35 years later, thanks to him and that day, i still drive one every day.    Jeff and my sister didn't go to far, but he never forgot our family and we shall never forget him.  When someone says a person is "one of a kind" , they speak of a man just like Jeff.  A true gem of a guy.

You were such an amazing friend, not only to me but to everyone lucky enough to have had you in their life.  

You were there like a brother to me. Years ago I remember riding to the beach most every weekend in either the Vette with the T-Tops out or the Jeep with the top off, doors off and sometimes the windshield down.  The sun, the wind and the occasional bug hitting me in the head.  At the beach it was a Mountain Dew, a bag of cashews, a beach chair, the surf, sun and sand.  
Here  it seemed that life’s troubles would all fade away.

You had a cool way of finding the good things in life and sharing them with others. You would do anything for family, friends and anyone lucky enough to have you in their life.

I hope you find your beach Heaven my friend.
