He is preceded in death by parents Borden & Rosa Jones, also two brothers Pete Jones and Glen Jones

He is survived by his wife, Johnna Price Jones of Coats NC,; three daughters Shiela Lopez, Wanda Jones and Jessica Jones; four sons, Mike Alfred, Erik Barfield, Chris Cox and Matt Dean; one cat, Brownie; four brothers, Roy Jones, Ralph Jones, Jerry Jones and Mike Jones; three sisters, Elizabeth Wiggins, Judy Sammons and Louise Jones; eighteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Cotten Funeral Home on Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 6-8 PM; a graveside service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Greenleaf Memorial Park at 11 AM, Rev. Roger Jones will officiate.
