He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard where he was a member of the 694th Maintenance Company and he attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Janice Norman Heath, two sons, Jimmy Heath, Jr. of Trenton; Randy Heath of Pollocksville; one daughter, Kerry Greathouse of Youngsville; two brothers, Roger Heath of Cove City; Charles Heath of Wake Forest; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Cotten Chapel with Rev. Bill Wingard and Rev. Dwight Williams officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Cotten.
