JoAnn was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. She was a free spirit who loved to spend her time outdoors hiking and ziplining with her family and friends. An animal lover who was known for taking in all types of strays. A dedicated mother who treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved being a Grandma and cherished all the moments she spent with her grandchildren while being a constant role model in their life. She was a dedicated employee of Walmart for over 25 years. She made friends wherever she went with her welcoming smile and contagious laughter. All who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace, and undying love and care for people in general.
While JoAnn’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit. Her family invites you to join them in a celebration of life ceremony at Cotten Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Service to begin at 2:00 pm.
She was very loved and will be missed terribly.
