John Craig Bardon, 77, of Havelock died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his home.

He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.

John is survived by his wife, Sandra Marie Bardon; son, John Craig Bardon, Jr. of Santa Ana, CA; step-sons, Robert Henry Schultz of Lakewood, CA and Jason Charles Schultz of Havelock; daughter, Patricia Ann Kepler of Portland, OR; step-daughters, Tina Marie Sterling of Post Falls, ID and Trisha Diane Peller of Hutto, TX; nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Friday, April 19, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

You will never be forgotten by your family and friends. I first meet you about 25 years ago when I became friends with Jason. I remember you being a strict father (but really a softy at times) but for good reason and as we grew older Jason and I realized it was necessary. Thanks for the memories of when we slept over at our buddy Jason's house. You normally treated us for dinner. You were Jason's "step-father" but you treated him like your own. You are going to be missed by your family and friends. Semper Fi Marine!


Jack is a great man and I send my deepest condolences for your loss. I took a look at the pictures and I think Jack was smiling in every picture and he made me smile at all the good times Jack lived. My families thoughts and prayers are with you during these hard times.
