John Albert Christie, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. After moving to New Bern in 1989, John soon began work at CarolinaEast Medical Center as a Communications Officer, retiring in 2007.
