John Ronald "Ron" Halvin, age 82, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. John was born in Westmoreland County, PA.
He retired from Ford Motor Company after 38 years and John was a 32nd Degree Mason. He had many loves including scuba diving, following sports, being outdoors, Cruising the seas, animals and he adored his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, brothers, sister and son John Randall Halvin.
He is survived by his wife Jean Ann Halvin of New Bern; son, Sean Halvin (Colleen) of South Lyon, MI; step daughter, Heather Coulter (Cory) of New Bern; grandchildren, Zachary Halvin (Madison), Austin Halvin both of South Lyon, MI, Michael Coulter of New Bern and Erin Cordell of Dayton, Ohio.
