Angie, I’m so sorry for your loss of Max. He was a fun guy at our meetings, always happy and laughing. My husband, Pete, enjoyed getting to know him at Monday evening dinner and support meetings. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that Max is in Gods care now.

Hunted together many years, partied on the farm, grew up together fishing. Will miss his joking ways and that smile. The Barn house could tell many tales of childhood

My Brother Max, I know I will always have a hole in my heart. I have loved you since the day Tom sneaked me in the hospital took me to see you in the nursery 71 years ago. You were the kindest man I have ever known. Always going with the flow of whatever anyone wanted and joking with everyone. You were just like our father, smiling and joking. We 'scrapped' when we were small like all brothers and sisters, but I loved you to the moon and back. You were a sweetheart to dance the 'bop' with me when I was tired of dancing with the doorknob and you loved to dance as you got older. We always laughed when we got together. We fished and hunted together and I enjoyed every moment and I could tell some very funny stories about things that happened when we were together. I know you are out of pain and in heaven and I will see you, Mom and Dad one day. That has been my prayer since you became ill. I love you to the moon and back. You were the best brother anyone could ask for. Don't lose one of the lens out of your sunglasses because you will need them when walking on those streets of gold. You know the incident I'm talking about.

I will always remember Max as he stayed with my mom & dad to help put in tobacco. We had a lot of good times together & he always loved my mom's hot biscuits & country ham. I loved him like a brother.
