Born to the late Harry and Bertice Overton, Judy built a life marked by hard work, independence, and a deep love for the people around her. She spent much of her career in accounting and later fulfilled her dream of running her own business. Outside of work, she loved to travel and treasured every moment spent with her friends and family.
Judy is survived by her son, Christopher Michael Hatem and his wife Jami; her brothers, Lionel Overton and his wife Valorie, and Rodney Overton and his wife Melissa; and her beloved granddaughter, Crislynn Marie Hatem, nieces, Tiffany Overton Johnson and Sarah Overton Temple.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Cotten Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
