June M Marie Walker

Survived by Son’s and daughter’s, Grant Grove, Debra West, Glenn Grove, Marjorie Anderson. Brother’s Ken Hartwell, Coke Hartwell. Grandmother to five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Born Swan Lake, Manitoba, Canada, the older of twins, sister Joyce Hill and daughter of Ken and Grace Hartwell.

June studied nursing at Colorado College with a degree and RN license. June became a US citizen in May of 1970. Retired as a RN Practitioner after 15 years with the Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada

Health Dept. June traveled coast to coast and to Alaska in her 24 foot motorhome with her second

husband, Bob Walker. June was previously married to Keith Grove, the father of her children. June was a 25 year wife of an Air Force serviceman and lived, traveled across the US, Germany, England and Spain.

June moved to New Bern, North Carolina in 2013 and enjoyed the southern lifestyle. June was a leader in the Girl Scouts and a adult trainer for the Boy and Girl Scout programs.
