Karen Sue Warhurst

We are sad to announce the passing of Karen Warhurst, age 80, on June 6, 2023. She was surrounded and loved by family leading up to the time of her death. Karen was predeceased by her two brothers, Ray Elgin (Sue Jane) and Charles Cannan (Jo).

Karen lived a fulfilling life as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9509 where she served many roles including Auxiliary President.

She is survived by her two sons, Curtis Priest (Maria) and David Warhurst (Kelly); one daughter, Dawn Spatholt (Gary); thirteen grandchildren, Christopher Asbell (Morgan), Hunter Priest, Kasie Priest, Lil David Warhurst, Amber Stone (T.J.), Heather Warhurst, Brent Craven, Trevor Priest, Dylan Warhurst, Taylor Keefer, Alyssa Spatholt, Cara Spatholt and Connor Sandella; 4 great grandchildren, Jonas, Savannah, Lana and Sawyer.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9509, 1141 S Live Oak Dr, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
