

Kenneth Paul Gossler passed away at the age of 59 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in New Bern, North Carolina. He was born on May 23, 1965, in North Wales, Pennsylvania to John Wallace Gossler and Rita (Heydt) Gossler.
Ken is survived by his Fiancé, Liz Crafton, and stepdaughter, Isabelle. He is also survived by four sisters, Susan Namowicz and husband Stanley, Virginia Groff and husband Richard, Theresa Bancroft and husband Robert, and Nancy Powell and husband Mark, and one brother, Ronald Gossler. Additionally, Ken is loved and missed by many family members and friends.
Ken enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves on May 29, 1984 and served for 6 years as Airman First Class, unit 72 AES at Mcguire Air Force Base in New Jersey. He was a proud Medical Service Specialist.
More recently, Ken was a volunteer at the Colonial Capital Humane Society Thrift Store for 8 years. He loved serving his community and helping the cats and dogs of the Humane Society, which he did in memory of his beloved dog, Wiggles McGee.
Ken had many jobs in his lifetime but his favorite was his faux painting business. He also loved crystals and rocks – which led him to find the “Love of his life” – his Lizzy.
Ken loved music and was a faithful volunteer and supporter of the Philadelphia Folk Festival. He used to hand out Tie Dye clothes and accessories at the festival. He was always colorfully decked out in tie dyes, which caused him to get the nickname “Tie Dye Ken.”
Ken was also an inventor. He admired Nikola Tesla and was very interested in electricity, energy, and the wonders of the universe.
Ken will be remembered as a kind, unique and colorful man. He embraced fun and loved life passionately.
