Larry was a member and deacon at Ft. Barnwell Baptist Church. He was retired from produce farming at Village Creek Farm. He was a wonderful man with an amazing testimony.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Heath Ipock; daughters, Jamie Ipock Edwards (Chris) and Heather Ipock Kotheimer (Danny Gilbert); grandchildren, Kaitlin Kotheimer (fiancé, Tanner Weatherington) and Lex Edwards; brothers and sisters, L.B. Ipock (Mary), Donald Ipock (Lorie), Patsy Heath (Roger), Joanna Fornes (Kenneth), Jeff Ipock (Betty), Michael Ipock, Teresa Hagan (Leonard), Diane Heath and Gale Houston (Ron); mother-in-love, Hallie Heath; stepfather, H.B. Riggs (Shelby); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Linwood Bell Ipock and mother, Arlettie Ipock Riggs; as well as his father-in-law, Leslie Heath.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 18th at Ft. Barnwell Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19th at Ft. Barnwell Baptist Church with the Rev. Reese Blanchett and the Rev. William "Billy" Webb officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Guests are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Ronald McDonald House, 529 Moye Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834.
