He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for 39 years, and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. for 21 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Myrtle Sellards, and two brothers, Benny and Jimmy Sellards.
He is survived by his wife Helen O. Sellards, one daughter, Cathy A. Valerien and husband Mark of Goldsboro; his twin brother, Harry Ronald Sellards of Poseyville, IN; and one sister, Aleta Marcum of London, KY.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, followed by his funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
