Larry was a world traveler, with his early beginnings in the Northwest territories of Canada followed by service in the Royal Canadian Air Force on the Distant Early Warning (DEW) Line across the Arctic. His extensive career took him to Tehran, Iran where he met the love of his life; across the Canadian provinces including Alberta, Ontario and Labrador/Newfoundland and back to the Middle East in Saudi Arabia. He retired with his family in New Bern N.C.
Larry had an unparalleled love of life, love of family and an infectious wit that put everyone he met at ease. He was an incredible story teller who also had a passion for philosophy and recorded his thoughts and a memoir to be cherished by his family for generations to come. Larry’s legacy and influence will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all he touched.
