Leo was born in New York, NY. He graduated from Admiral Farragut Military Academy and retired Major with 30 years of service with the USMC.
He is preceded by son Leo S. Brandenburg, first wife, LeNor, second wife, Sharon and sister, Isabelle B. Graziano.
He is survived by his son Scott W. Brandenburg (wife Martha), Jeff and Richard Fedorka, Tracey Esch (four children).
Memorial services will 1:00 pm Saturday July 13, 2024 at Croatan FWB Church in Havelock 7028 US-70 E., New Bern, NC 28560. The family will receive friends and a luncheon will be provided following the service in the church fellowship hall. There will also be a farewell toast at 5:00 pm at The Havelock VFW Post 7315, 120 Lynnwayne Cir., Havelock, NC 28532.
