I met Lisa back in April. Her and an old friend of mine I hadn't seen in years, came by and picked me up. I'll never forget how when they pulled up, Lisa was like cheering me on, like she knew just how badly I needed that night out... I got In the back of the car and she turned around and looked at me, and I was shocked by how beautiful she was! So, I told her. We hung out the 3 of us, and had the girliest of nights. I still have the T-shirt she let me wear home, and the eyeshadow palette she gave me, I use it everyday. 

Not to mention, I adopted her guinea pig a few months ago... I am still so shocked by this. I am praying for Gavin and her mother, and oldest son. God bless.

Sending prayers and condolences to Sandra, John and Lisa’s sons.  I have fond memories of Lisa from living beside you all on Spring Garden Lane, later renamed Briarwood Lane.  Our childhood  days playing on our swing sets, in the sandbox, riding bicycles, summer days in the pool, playing baseball in the Jones front yard. I enjoyed her makeup videos on Facebook and was happy to reconnect with Lisa on  Facebook when she was living in Wilkesboro before moving back to New Bern.  I will always remember her big  smile.  May Lisa test in peace.

I'm so truly sad 😔 at this news. I always loved and cared for her and her family. Rest in peace Lisa. You will be truly missed.

We were shocked to read the news about Lisa's passing.  Lisa was a beautiful person inside and out.  My condolences to the family and her children.  

I will always remember Lisa as one of the many of us that grew up  on Briarwood Lane. I always thought the treehouse she & John had was the greatest. Praying for her family. 

Rest in peace my beautiful friend. You were so special to us who knew and loved you. I will always have the memories we shared over the years. 

Heaven is rejoicing to receive such a beautiful soul as Lisa. My memory of her goes back to elementary school Brinson Elementary. Mrs. Sandra was a teacher there and Lisa and I would hang out in her classroom after school. Many nights sleeping over, going to John’s baseball games and Mrs. Sandra’s pancakes in the morning. Great memories I will cherish forever. Lisa you will be missed because you were loved so much. Until we meet again my sister. My deepest condolences to the family.

I’m deeply saddened  to hear this news of Lisa’s passing!  Lisa and I shared many laughs, tears, and adventures together during high school.  After school, marriage and children,  we simply lost touch.  She always had a bubbly personality and was well loved by all her friends!  Sending my deepest condolences to Ms Sandra, John and her boys!  May she rest in peace and may y’all find comfort in the days ahead.

What I remember the most about Lisa is how when she would tell a story she would get really excited and her smile would get bigger and bigger and her eyes would sparkle. And, she always had the best hair! Anytime we would run into each other she would proudly speak of her sons and their many accomplishments. You could immediately tell they were her pride and joy. I would like to express my condolences to Lisa's family and loved ones. Lisa and I were friends in high school and we shared many fun times. She was such a delightful person and was beloved by so many. I pray that you will feel God's peace and comfort during this very difficult time.
