Lois "Gerry" Geraldine Teple

Lois Geraldine "Gerry" Teple, 88, passed away Wednesday morning, April 5, 2023. Gerry was born on August 21st, 1934, in Fairfield, Ct and raised in Corwall On Hudson, NY.

She lived in New Bern for the last 50 years. Gerry was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and travel. She loved her church and her church family, gatherings with her neighbors and friends, and a warm fire on a winter's day with her two cats.

She is survived by her six children, Donna Vaughn and her husband Bob, Robert "Bob" Teple Jr. and wife Judy, Roy and wife Tracy, Patti and husband Greg, daughter Sandy Stinehour, and son John Teple, as well as 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11th, at 11 am at the West New Bern Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Jeff Sockwell along with the Rev. Dr. Tom Priest will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations to the West New Bern Presbyterian Church, 1701 Lucerne Way, New Bern, NC 28560, for the Gerry Teple Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
